Transitions: Primary to Secondary School

Join our experienced Family Support Adviser, for this group online workshop. During the session our professionals will cover

• What you can expect from your school (including planning, communication access to funding, reasonable adjustments)
• Support available, from statutory and community based services
• What you can do yourself – building confidence, resilience and trust.

There will also be time for a Question and Answer session.

This workshop has been developed in collaboration with Essex County Council SEND Education Teams, Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (NHS), Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, Multischools Council & Essex Family Forum.

This workshop is free for parent carers living in North Essex who have a child with a neurodiverse condition. Depending on interest we may offer additional places to parent carers living outside of North Essex.
